Leather
Ring Belts
Thick, sturdy and
supple, these heavyweight hand crafted leather ring belts will last for
years to come of crusades and conquests. Intended
for knotting around the ring at the waist as shown above, these belts
have no holes
punched in the leather. The harness and bridle leather ring
belts are comparable in quality and type. Visually, the main
difference
between the leathers is that the harness leather ring belts are dyed
further through the leather, while the bridle leather ring belts are
surface dyed.
The oils and waxes added to each during the tanning process mean both
are weather resistant and strong leathers well suited for belt use.
A Quick Note About
Ring Belt Lengths
Belt 30" longer than waist measurement = at or below the knee
Belt 24" longer than waist measurement = at or above the knee
Belt 18" longer than waist measurement = at or around mid-thigh
Belt 12" longer than waist measurement = at or around the hips
For example:
a 62" belt should fall roughly mid-thigh on a 44" waist - a
comfortable, practical length that will be comfortable while you
walk.
Buying the longer belt would be safer, though, because the end may be
trimmed to any desired length with a pair of scissors. We are
also happy to shorten the belt to your requirements after purchase.

are hand cut and stitched. Each one unique, they are
lovingly crafted with attention to every detail - from leather
selection, pattern drafting, and combination of different textures and
shapes, to clever closures and design features that make each one a
wearable work of art.
This hand
cut and sewn weathered white
kidney shaped leather belt pouch is based on 14th or 15th
century medieval designs. It is a combination of cowhides,
vegetable and chrome tanned.
The pouch measures 9"x 8" and has a depth of 1".
Inside, there are two pockets for holding your items.
The bag itself merely drapes over your belt - there are no
belt loops on this pouch. Belt and dagger not included.

Based on
medieval designs for falconer pouches, this bag is hand cut
and stitched from white pigskin. Historically,
the metal ring inside the neck of the pouch held the pouch
open so a falconer could reach in and give tidbits to their falcon or
to easily put the catch inside. Since this is a unique
hand-made bag, we do not recommend it for holding raw meat or other
food stuffs.
The opening secures with a drawstring when not in use. The
metal ring is 4 inches in diameter - this will accomodate an
extra-large mans hand size. The bag measures 12" tall, by
9.5" wide, and has a loop on the back to attach it to your belt.
