There is black couched cord defining and embellishing the edge of the pleated linen ruffles on the collar and cuffs. The collar and cuffs each tie with two black cords as in the reference material. Doublet This Elizabethan silk dupioni doublet is based on a historic leather doublet from 1567. It is made from shot red and black 100% silk dupioni that is interlined and then lined with black satin acetate. The cut of this doublet is more historically accurate than most of our other doublet styles. The original included pocket flaps on both sides at the front, only one of which was functional. Our version has two functional pockets for lightweight items at the front. (Detail photo to the left.) There are 9 brass filligree dome shaped buttons and loops for the front closure. The shape and style of these buttons is historically accurate. At each shoulder, there are black velvet ribbon loops for decoration, and black trim around all edges, including sleeves, skirting, pocket flaps, and collar. |

This
Elizabethan style unlined black top grain leather doublet is based on a
historic leather
doublet from 1567. The cut of this doublet is more
historically
accurate than most of our other doublet styles. The original
included pocket flaps on both sides at the front, only one of which was
functional. Our version has two functional pockets for
lightweight items at the front, and two 'secret' pockets in the flap
itself. There are 10 hand cast 100% pewter (lead free)
faceted ball shaped buttons closing the front. The shape and
style of these buttons is
historically accurate. While we are not expert leatherworkers, we do occasionally make one of a kind pieces from leather and suede. These are unique pieces that will not be exactly repeated. We are not taking custom orders for leather goods. Steampunk Santa Hat: Based on early 20th century aviator hats, this hat is made from red pleather and completely lined with white velboa short pile faux fur. This cap fits a 22.5" head circumference. Red Steampunk Santa Hat Price: $35.00Available Now: 1Steampunk Santa Coat: Based on a 1910 pattern for a military trench coat, this unlined organic cotton chili pepper colored double-breasted coat features 12 gold tone metal buttons, back vent, two large external pockets, and buttons and tabs at each sleeve. White velboa short pile faux fur makes up the uniquely styled collar and the facings in each cuff and inside each side of the center front. The Steampunk Santa coat is shown here with cuffs turned back to show the facings. This coat measures: 48" chest, 50" waist, 46" nape to hem , 27" inch sleeve, 8" one shoulder. various stress points for extra strength. There is a back waist tie that allows for some adjustability for smaller sizes, but generally speaking, this modern Victorian waistcoat will fit up to a 41" chest and a 41" natural waist at the belly button line. While we are not expert leatherworkers, we do occasionally make one of a kind pieces from leather and suede. These are unique pieces that will not be exactly repeated. Jedi style cotton tunics, obis and tabards
are super easy to care for! Just toss in the wash on cold
with like colors and tumble dry low for best results. If you
would like something a bit dressier, we also have tunic sets available
in 100% silk noil below. Wear one tunic alone or layer it
with matching or contrasting colors for different characters and
effects. These tunic sets are intended to be generic in
nature -
for specific characters with particular details, please contact us for
a custom order. The tunics are designed to overlap in the front, and have no closures. The tunics will fit up to a 60 inch chest, each shoulder is about 8 inches wide, and the sleeves are 23 inches long. They can be cinched closed with your belt or we can custom make an obi from matching or contrasting material, with a velcro closure to fit your waist. Tabards can also be made for you out of a matching or contrasting material - see below to purchase the custom obi and/or custom tabard set. See individual descriptions for lengths (lengths are measured from nape to hem as front overlap will change depending on your waist measurement). **Leather belts, boots, pants and
